During the last 10 years, the mechanism of Works by Taxes (O x I) allowed to award more than 300 projects for around 4 billion soles.

He pointed out that 43% of the projects belong to the Education sector, mostly in the area of school construction, which includes equipment, technology and teacher training. It also includes the implementation of all the components that allow students to improve their performance".
Now, the question is why such a high percentage in the Education sector. Although it is a fundamental axis, it should also be possible to use the O x I mechanism for Health, Water & Sanitation, roads and highways or irrigation, among others.
